The Giftware Association is the UK’s largest trade association for the home and giftware industry. As well as leading the strategic vision in support of the CEO, Sarah Ward, Buy-From has also been working with the GA for the past 4 years on the PR and communications. Good work that has directly led to Louise being voted Chair of the National Committee for the Giftware Association.
We have been working with the Giftware Association for 6 years now with our role developing over that time. We are now responsible for marketing and communication strategy, graphic design and social media consultancy. In 2022 our brief has been to develop a robust communication strategy for both the association and for the CEO, Sarah Ward. This includes thought leadership pieces for Sarah, increased strategic communication on LinkedIn, social media for both the GA and Gift of the Year Awards, supporting with the development of the new Giftware Association website, PR and graphic design. One of the key design projects we have worked on recently is the new membership brochure as well as all the assets for the Gift of the Year Awards.
What We Did
Our role with the GA encompasses the Gift of the Year Awards as well. All communications are B2B, as we support member engagement, industry/trade PR, CEO thought leadership on LinkedIn, copywriting, graphic design, and social media support. Part of Louise’s role is to champion the giftware industry to politicians, policymakers, media, and relevant stakeholders to ensure that the GA’s membership is heard across the UK and EU. A key aspect of the work we do throughout the year is to work alongside policymakers and the Bank of England, to optimise the potential growth of the giftware sector.
Our work has directly supported the increase in membership, the acquisition of new industry judges for the Gift of the Year Awards, a direct increase by 30% of entries to the Gift of the Year Awards, has enabled the writing and presentation of white papers to government about issues directly affecting the Giftware Industry, has seen the development of two new websites (Giftware Association and the Gift of the Year Awards), has led to the strategic development of a new education platform for members and more.
